Auditory Processing Problems?

Dear Reader,

After watching my 6 yo boy at tennis class the last two weeks, I am beginning to wonder if he has mild auditory processing problems. It seems like he is always asking us questions he should know the answer to and he has problems with multi-step directions. In tennis it is obviously a chaotic noisy environment and he seems to be confused as to what to do a lot. He had been in speech therapy for about 5 years. We just stopped that. I am not sure if that is related or not. He was always responsive to the speech therapy sessions though he still has some issue but that was always one on one. I am not looking for a formal diagnosis for him, just tips on how best to homeschool him and just generally discipline him and make sure he is hearing our commands. Overall if he does have issues I am very glad we are homeschooling. I think he would do a lot worse in a class of 20 or more.

Any advice out there?
