Blogs I’ve Been Reading

Dear Reader,

There have been some excellent posts put there lately. Here are some I’ve enjoyed:

31 Days of Charlotte Mason by Brandy at Afterthoughts — A whole month of posts! Check back frequently to read them all.

The Thinking Mother has a couple of posts I’ve enjoyed lately: Grain Free vs. Gluten Free vs. Sprouted Grains and Solitude, Self Isolation and Socialization. I find homeschoolers often worry about if their seemingly antisocial child really has issues (and might do better in school) or if they are just happy as a loner. Her post and the article she links to may help work through those issues.

Practical Idea for a Real Education John Taylor Gatto from Generation Cedar — This is part three but I recommend them all. I am reading my second Gatto book now and am rapt.

Good Behavior VS. Good Character: A Redemption Story by Dr. Jennifer Spencer at Childlight USA — This will really make you think about how you try to shape your children’s behavior.

That should keep you all busy for a while.
